About Jimmy Miller
Jimmy hails from the great state of Arkansas. He began his musical career at the young age of 13, singing everywhere from his small country church to opening for country artists such as Lee Greenwood, The Oak Ridge Boys, and Keith Urban. While still in Arkansas, he was a part of the well-known, regional group Young Country, which placed second in the national competition the Colgate Country Showdown. After winning many local, regional and national competitions (competing alongside a small-town Oklahoma artist by the name of Carrie Underwood), Jimmy made the difficult decision to leave both Young Country and Arkansas behind and move to Nashville to pursue a solo career. Since moving to Tennessee, Jimmy has spent multiple seasons performing at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, Dollywood, and at The Fontanel as part of the original cast of Music City on Stage.
Jimmy is proud to be joining the General Jackson Showboat for his 6th season. In his spare time, when not performing or hitting the gym, he enjoys spending time in the great outdoors and with friends and family or relaxing in his favorite hammock.
