Known for her eclectic musical repertoire, contagious smile and never-ending enthusiasm, Amberly Rosen started playing violin at the age of three. After growing up in the beautiful state of Oregon, Amberly moved to Boston and graduated from the Berklee College of Music, Magna Cum Laude. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance. Upon graduation, she performed in Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline musicals, and toured with Órla Fallon of Celtic Women, both nationally and abroad. Additionally, Amberly has performed with The Rosen Sisters, The Carmonas, Jerry Vandiver, Ashleigh Caudill, Tansova Grupa, and others. Music comes in all tones and time signatures and Amberly enjoys bridging the gaps between classical, old-time, bluegrass, Celtic, and traditional folk music from the Balkans, Scandinavia, and Central Europe.
In 2014, Amberly placed new roots in Nashville. Her first opportunity was playing “Girl in A Country Song” with Maddie and Tae on The Late Show with David Letterman. Since then, she has toured and played regularly on the Grand Ole Opry with Terri Clark and others. Additionally, she plays sessions and teaches fiddle and violin lessons. She is thrilled to be back for her second season on the General Jackson for Music City Nights!
